Chimney Sweep in Notting Hill
Sooty & Sweeps offers chimney sweeping in Notting Hill with over 40 years’ experience behind it. We are a family-run company based at our London office in Barnet, and we sweep and inspect open fires, stoves and gas fires.
Every sweep who visits is HETAS approved, accredited with APICS and carries full liability insurance. We quote a final price before we start, and you receive a HETAS certificate once the job is done, which your home insurer will accept.
What a Notting Hill sweep includes
- Visual inspection of the chimney stack, chimney pot and cowl
- Visual inspection of any appliance and installation for safety and compliance (HETAS)
- Chimney sweeping (ensuring no blockages are present)
- Smoke evacuation test of chimney flue
- Visual inspection of CO alarm
- HETAS approved certificate of Chimney Sweeping (home insurance approved)
We use dust sheets and a vacuum, so your room is left clean.
More than sweeping
Not every chimney just needs a sweep. We also handle fault finding, integrity tests, camera inspections, cowls, caps and bird guards, nest removal, chimney stack repair, flue lining and wood-burning stove installation. Our chimney sweeping, flue liner and log burner installation pages cover the detail.
Neighbouring areas we cover include Holland Park, Kensington and Paddington. Not sure what you need? Contact us and we will talk it through, or browse all our London areas.
